Greek-Norwegian project planning at Ås in November 2018

The Greek-Norwegian school collaboration under planning

"HAV Europa" started as a Norwegian-Greek collaboration in 2017, and Ås is cooperating with the Greek municipality of Galatsi Δήμος Γαλατσίου ενημέρωση. We have already started projects in primary schools from both municipalities, with parallel events taking place in schools in both communities.

The main ambition by HAV project is to inspire to reduce xenophobia in the general society trough art and culture. This includes creating international networks, workshops, performances, exhibitions, and other ways of social interactions in local, national and international contexts.

"Sjøskogen Xenophobia Project" is a collaboration between the Ås Arts and Music School (Ås International Centre for Culture), Sjøskogen Primary School, Ås Science Dissemination Park (Vitenparken I Ås) and the School Nr 11 at Galatsi Municipality in Athens.

The Norwegian dance teacher Rebecca Holm is planning the dans in Norway, inspired by the Greek myth and sculptures.
